The Kalyan GRP, probing the stone-pelting case at Ulhasnagar station on Sunday, are yet to get any clues about the attackers. The GRP team checked the CCTV installed at the station but have not found any footage of the accused as they had alighted at the opposite side of the platform from where they pelted stones at the train commuters. A 25-year-old newly married woman had suffered injuries above her left eye after being hit by a stone at Ulhasnagar station.
The police suspect the accused were not regular commuters as they failed to catch them despite laying a trap for them for three days both in the train and at Ulhasnagar station. The GRP is trying to check other CCTVs installed in shops outside the station to identify the accused.
