MTDC’s Ganpati darshan gets good response

The MTDC has received good response for the special Mumbai Ganeshotsav Darshan tour in Mumbai. The initiative was started to ensure that tourists across the world get a chance to visit the most well-known Ganpati mandals in the city.

“We are getting overwhelming response for the Ganpati darshan package. So we have decided to continue the idea for the Navratri festival too,” Paraag Jaiin Nainutia, MTDC managing director told TOI.

The tour starts from Dadar (E) at 8am. The tour also includes a guide who will share interesting facts about Ganeshostsav, its history and significance. In a tour costing Rs 2001, MTDC shows Andhericha Raja – one of the most famous pandals in western suburbs, Siddhivinayak – the most revered Ganesh temple in the city, GSB Ganpati – richest in the city, Lalbaug cha Raja – most famous mandal and Keshavaji Naik chawl Ganpati – first started by Lokmanya Tilak.
