Jailed NCP leader Chhagan Bhujbal gives nod for angiography

Jailed NCP leader Chhagan Bhujbal has given his consent to undergo angiography. The former deputy chief minister said he would prefer to undergo the procedure at Bombay Hospitalas he was under the care of the doctor there. The court is yet to pass an order.

Bhujbal was transferred from JJ Hospital back to Arthur Road Jail on December 14 following a court order. Jail authorities then had sought the court’s intervention after Bhujbal (69) refused angiography at JJ Hospital.

On Friday, the court is likely to pronounce its order on a complaint filed by activist Anjali Damania on his month-long stay at Bombay Hospital.
