ACB finds 19 lakh in cop’s home

The Anti corruption Bureau (ACB) on Wednesday recovered cash to the tune of Rs 19 lakh from police inspector Shankar Pujari’s residence during a search.

ACB officials said they also recovered property papers showing Pujari owning two flats in the city.

Pujari, an inspector attached to the Mulund police station, was caught by the ACB on Tuesday accepting a bribe of Rs 5,000 from a club owner in Mulund, triggering the search.
