Port warning issued by IMD in Mumbai

The Indian metereological department on November 5 issued a port warning for Maharashtra and Goa coast, in view of a depression over east central Arabian Sea. This is expected to intensity into a cyclonic storm and move west-southwest towards the Gulf of Aden located in the Arabian Sea between Yemen, on the south coast of the Arabian Peninsula.

Weather officials however also assured that there would not be a major, change in the weather situation in the city and it may likely have an impact only in the coast area. Meanwhile minimum temperatures in the city after dipping to 19.7 degree Celsius last week have touched 25 degrees. The minimum temperatures recorded at Santacruz on Thursday were 25 degree Celsius which was 2.8 degrees Celsius
