The Indian metereological department on November 5 issued a port warning for Maharashtra and Goa coast, in view of a depression over east central Arabian Sea. This is expected to intensity into a cyclonic storm and move west-southwest towards the Gulf of Aden located in the Arabian Sea between Yemen, on the south coast of the Arabian Peninsula.
Weather officials however also assured that there would not be a major, change in the weather situation in the city and it may likely have an impact only in the coast area.
