The state election commission on Wednesday slammed KDMC commissioner E Ravindran for confusing voters of 27 villages by advertising in newspapers about a hearing for a new corporation comprising those villages though the election process is on.
The EC has asked the commissioner to cancel the hearing on October 16 and 17 and keep it on hold till the polls.
