A Virar-based senior citizen who shared his bank account and card details on phone, lost money to the trickster. Virar police said the 60-year-old received a call on Monday. The caller introduced himself as an employee of a nationalized bank. He told the victim that his ATM card was in the process of being blocked but did not ask for his bank details. The next day, though, he called again and took down the account details as well as his ATM card pin. Within minutes, Rs 44,910 was withdrawn from his account.
