Thane police have decided to deploy heavy police force at centres where Sangharsh Samiti, fighting for an independent corporation for 27 villages, may attack candidates filing nomination forms.Sangharsh Samiti, supported by all parties except Shiv Sena, has decided to boycott KDMC polls and threatened to attack those who will contest.
However, BJP and MNS have declared if any party files nomination for polls, their candidates too will file forms.
