MUMBAI: Maharashtra State Road Development Corporation managing director Anil Diggikar, a Maharashtra cadre IAS officer of the 1990 batch, will take over as the new chairman of Jawaharlal Nehru Port Trust (JNPT) from Monday. Union transport minister Nitin Gadkari stepped in to ensure that a state cadre IAS officer is appointed to head JNPT.
