Leading Content Creator Prajakta Koli has become the first United Nations Development Programme India’s Youth Climate Champion.

On being selected as the first India Youth Champion, Prajakta says, “I am extremely humbled and honored to have been entitled with this unique responsibility to champion a cause that is close to my heart. As the very first UNDP India Youth Climate Champion, I would like to produce and participate in opportunities that propel conversations around climate action and the urgent measures we must take.”

Prajakta has not just produced and participated in conversations about climate change, but, she also has connected with millions of Indians. She understands that the “youth needs to be torchbearers of revolution” if they wish to achieve a common shared goal of an empowered future.

Koli is a youth icon and has been known for her contribution towards mental health, women’s rights, and socially relevant youth-centric issues through many global social campaigns.
