Mumbai: After an inexplicable error, a junior college aspirant with a score of 99.8% in her SSC exam has not managed to land a seat anywhere in Mumbai when the first merit list was announced on Monday. She will now have to wait for the online admission process to end on July 15 to apply to colleges where she can secure a seat subject to availability.
The topper from a Kalyan school was shocked when she received a message on the online admission portal that she had not been allotted a seat. “With my marks, I was very confident of securing a seat in the college of my choice, but I was shocked to see the message pop up,” she said.
