On Friday, the Union Health Ministry has asked the National Board of Examination (NBE) to postpone NEET-PG by 6-8 weeks as it is clashing with NEET PG 2021 counseling. This postponement has come after a plea was filed by MBBS Graduates in the Supreme Court. New dates for the exams will be announced soon.
The students seeking postponement of exams are saying if the exam was held on March 12, then many MBBS graduates will be unable to attempt the exam as it will come in the midst of their mandatory internship period. The request to postpone NEET PG 2022 has been accepted by the Health Ministry.
