On Tuesday night, the Maharashtra Government has issued revised guidelines for travelers on international as well as domestic passengers keeping in mind the risks posed by the new variant named ‘Omicron’.
As per the revised guidelines, all international passengers will have to provide the details of the countries they have visited in the past 15 days. Apart from these, the domestic passengers will have to provide a negative RT-PCR report.
As it is declared by the Central Government, all the passengers coming from ‘at-risk’ countries will have to go through a mandatory institutional quarantine of 7 days.
It is on days 2,4 and 7 when the RT-PCR tests will be carried out and if the test comes out to be negative, the passenger will have to undergo a mandatory 7-day home quarantine.
