In the past 6 days, the fuel prices have increased nearly by Rs.4. With the fuel prices witnessing a constant rise from the past few days, diesel rate is now falling short of just 26 and 36 paise to reach Rs.100 per litre in Aurangabad as well as Amravati. 

In Mumbai, the petrol prices on Sunday had increased by 53 paise and diesel has increased by 58 paise. Currently, in Mumbai, the petrol price is Rs.113.88 per litre and diesel is Rs.98.13 per litre. The petrol prices in Thane and Navi Mumbai stands at Rs.114.02 per litre and diesel at Rs.98.27 per litre.

After the Russia and Ukraine conflict, the fuel price hike is the result of an increase in the global oil prices.
