Since the past few days, a maximum number of cases have been reported by Maharashtra, but there are no pandemic-related deaths. In the past 24 hours, Maharashtra saw a surge of 662 cases which took the total number of active cases to 7,429.
In the past 24 hours, the country reported 3,741 fresh Covid-19 cases taking the tally to 4,31,85,049. According to the updated Union Health Ministry data, the active cases in India have increased to 26,976. With seven new fatalities, the death toll has risen to 5,24,708, stated the updated data. In the span of 24 hours, there has been an increase of 1,194 cases of Covid-19.
