FIR lodged against Kangana Ranaut for allegedly hurting sentiments of Sikh Community

On Tuesday, the Mumbai Police lodged an FIR against the Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut for allegedly hurting the sentiments of the Sikh community through a post on social media.

The FIR was filed at Mumbai’s Khar police station under Section 295A of the IPC. Section 295A of the IPC refers to deliberate and malicious acts, intended to outrage religious feelings of any class by insulting its religion or religious beliefs.

The actress allegedly referred to the entire Sikh community as “KHALISTANI TERRORISTS” and she also said that the former Minister Indira Gandhi “crushed them like mosquitoes under her shoe.”
