On Sunday, Maharashtra Health Minister Rajesh Tope said that Maharashtra will consult the state Covid task force along with the senior officials after the festival of Diwali. This will be done to discuss the possibilities of permitting people with just one dose of vaccines in the shopping malls and trains.
Tope also acknowledged that the Covid infections are witnessing a downward trend in Maharashtra.
In August, Maharashtra had allowed the reopening of shopping malls along with the extended timing of restaurants and eateries till 10 pm, with a capacity of 50%.
