On Tuesday, Anil Deshmukh was granted bail by the Bombay High Court in a money laundering case. The Enforcement Directorate had filed the case against Anil Deshmukh. Deshmukh was granted bail on a bond and surety of Rs.1 lakh.
Last year, Anil Deshmukh was arrested and he approached the High Court. After a case was lodged against him by the CBI, Dekhmukh was booked by the Enforcement Directorate. Allegations were made against him by former Mumbai Police Commissioner Param Bir Singh. The allegations claimed that Anil Dekhmukh collected Rs.4.7 crore from several bars and restaurants in Mumbai city by misusing his position.
