Across Uttar Pradesh, in a statewide drive to make sure about the governments’ directives regarding the usage of loudspeakers at religious places, 6,031 loudspeakers have been taken down from religious places of various communities within a span of 72 hours. Additionally, the volume of 30,000 loudspeakers were lowered and were brought to the told decibel level.
The officials have been directed by CM Yogi Adityanath to make sure that there is no installation of public address systems at religious places without prior permission. The places that are permitted to make use of the loudspeakers should see to it that the sound does not go more than the premises in which they are installed.
