“74% of the eligible population in Uttarakhand inoculated” – CM Dhami on Covid-19 vaccination

On Wednesday, the Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami was seen talking about the Covid-19 situation in the districts of Uttarakhand and the state, as whole. CM Dhami said that 99% of the eligible population of Rudraprayag has been vaccinated against coronavirus. The Uttarakhand Government has already given out statements of its aim to inoculate all residents of the hill state within four months. 

Dhami further said all eligible beneficiaries of Bageshwar district and Khirsu block in Pauri Garhwal have received their first dose of the anti-virus vaccine.

As per reports from ANI, CM Dhami said, “One lakh people will be vaccinated in 100 wards of Dehradun on 22 August.”

The Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare said that Uttarakhand is one among other states that have inoculated more than 10 lakh beneficiaries in the age group 18-44 years with the first dose of the vaccine.
