Writing to all states and Union Territories, the Union Health Ministry has lifted the mandatory 10 day quarantine for passengers that come from the United Kingdom.

Joint Secretary Lav Agarwal has written that, “Based on the evolving scenario, it has been decided that the revised guidelines…stand withdrawn and the earlier guidelines on international arrival dated 17th February 2021 shall be applicable to all travellers arriving in India from the United Kingdom.”

There is no mandatory quarantine for vaccinated travellers coming to India from any country.

Earlier, India had warned that the countries which will not recognise India’s vaccine certificates, will face a similar action in India.
