On Thursday, the death of Haryana BJP politician Sonali Phogat was registered as a murder case by the Goa police. The police have also booked two people who accompanied her to Goa. The postmortem showed ‘multiple blunt force injuries over Sonali’s body, after which the murder case was registered. It was on Tuesday morning when Sonali’s death took place in Anjuna. On Thursday, the postmortem took place after her family gave consent.
Sonali Phogat’s PA Sudhir Sangwan and her friend Sukhwinder have been booked by the police and are being interrogated for having a connection to the murder.
On Wednesday, Sonali’s brother Rinku Dhaka filed a police complaint registering the death as a murder case and booking her PA and her friend who had accompanied Sonali to Goa.
