On Saturday, Sharad Pawar got re-elected as the President of the Nationalist Congress Party. He was re-elected as the president in the NCP’s national executive meeting which took place in the country’s capital.
Post the meeting, the general secretary of the party, Praful Patel, said that Sharad Pawar has been elected unopposed by the national executive of NCP. He said that the census of OBC should be done and the parties should be coming together to challenge BJP. He added that there was a need for unity as Bihar CM and senior Janata Dal-United Nitish left the NDA.
