After being the face of Controversies since the last month, Baba Ramdev has yet again made a statement that contradicts his own ideologies of Medicine.
The Yoga Guru Ramdev Baba has said that he will now get vaccinated against the Covid-19 virus soon which seems like an attempt to ask the IMA to forget the past and move on.
Not just this, Baba Ramdev also urged people to get vaccinated against coronavirus apart from practising yoga and Ayurveda.
Ramdev also hailed PM Modi’s announcement of a free, centralised Covid-19 vaccination drive which will begin from 21st of June which also happens to be the International Yoga Day.
“Prime Minister Narendra Modi has made a historic announcement of vaccinating every citizen free of cost from June 21. Everybody should get vaccinated. Also, people should practice yoga and Ayurveda which will prepare a protective shield against disease and will also prevent COVID casualties. I will also get vaccinated soon,” Ramdev said.
A video was tweeted by JanTv that had an attachment of a video link in it that had the Yoga guru speaking of the Vaccination.
Ramdev said that everyone should get two doses of the vaccine and also practice yoga and Ayurveda to build a protective shield against the infection. “This will help prevent deaths due to Covid-19,” Ramdev added.
According to ANI, Ramdev claimed, “But other life-threatening diseases, incurable disorders can be cured through ancient practices listed in yoga…ayurveda, which is not a matter of argument.”
Adding in, the video also consists of Ramdev saying, “We cannot be enemies with any organisation. All good doctors are angels sent by god. If a doctor does something wrong, it is their own fault.”
Baba has made misleading claims about modern medicine on several occasions.
Ramdev was trapped in a controversy when he termed Allopathy as ‘a STUPID SCIENCE’ and IMA Uttarakhand had a defamation case slammed on his for his statements.
He then covered it up by saying that there was no doubt about allopathic treatments being better in case of emergencies and surgeries.
