Indian Air Force is set to have a Grand Parade on October 8 on the occasion of the Air Force Day. The Russian bought Rafale Fighter aircraft is set to make its Air Force Day debut. The Aircraft was formally introduced into the Indian Air Force’s (IAF) famous 17 Squadron named the ‘Golden Arrows’, at the Ambala airbase in Haryana on September 10.

The Air Force Day marks the establishment of the Indian Air Force on October 8, 1932. The Air Force Station Hindan in Ghaziabad (Uttar Pradesh) was the place where it was established. This year is the 88th celebration of the Air Force Day which will include an annual parade at the Hindon airbase in Ghaziabad inclusive of the air display of a range of aircrafts.

“Along with other aircraft, the Rafale aircraft will also take part in the Air Force Day parade on October 8,” the IAF official said.
