On Wednesday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi chaired a meeting of the 37th edition of PRAGATI, the ICT based multi-modal platform for ‘Pro-Active Governance and Timely Implementation’, involving the Centre as well as state governments.
The agenda of the meeting had nine items on the list and those were for a review. Out of these were 8 projects and 1 scheme.
Among the eight projects, three projects each were from the Ministry of Railways and Ministry of Road Transport and Highways and two projects were from the Ministry of Power.
Among this was also the One Nation – One Ration Card (ONORC) policy that was up for a review.
While reviewing progress on the ONORC scheme, PM told the officials to “explore the multiple utilities of the technological platform developed under the scheme.”
