5G services were inaugurated by PM Narendra Modi in India. However, the whole country will not be benefitted from 5G services as of now. Initially, the 5G network services will be brought out in 13 Indian cities including Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Chandigarh, Chennai, Delhi, Gandhinagar, Gurugram, Hyderabad, Jamnagar, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai, and Pune.

The remaining parts of India will be benefited from this network service over the coming months and within a period of two to three years. Reliance Jio is all geared up to roll out its 5G plans by Diwali this year in key cities like Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata, and Chennai.

Apart from the increased speed of downloads, 5G will also be used in public services like the health sector, smart farming, and also disaster management.
