Mumbai Metro services are set to resume from today, October 19. Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) will be followed by the Metro staff and the commutators.

On October 14, Maharashtra Government allowed the resumption of the Metro services in the city from October 15 itself. But, the Mumbai Metro took a few days plus, to make sure of all the runs to be safe. Metro train services will be only half of the pre-COVID levels and will operate at a third of the passenger capacity.
ALL YOU NEED TO KNOW
- 8:30 am to 8:30 pm are the Operating Hours of the Metro.
- Headway of 6:30 minutes during peak hours and 8 minutes during regular hours.
- The Mumbai Metro will make over 200 trips in a day.
- Only 300 commuters will be allowed per trip.
- Only Asymptomatic commuters will be allowed aboard the Mumbai Metro.
- The Inside-coach temperature will be maintained between 25-27 degree Celsius.
- The metro station gates will open 15 minutes before operations start
- Entry and exit will only be allowed from select gates for now

The Mandatory SOP for everyone who is traveling, cleaning or in association with the Metro is wearing masks and maintaining social distancing.
