On Wednesday, the process of Offline verification and issuing of the rail pass of local trains started in Mumbai. The help desks will be open from 7 am to 11pm everyday.
Around 30 lakh people who have been vaccinated with both the doses of Covid-19 vaccine will be permitted to travel in local trains, BMC commissioner Iqbal Chahal said on Tuesday.
People who have completed 14 days after receiving 2 doses of Covid-19 vaccine were verified with their certificate of vaccination. Their photo ID cards were also checked. Citizens who were verified were given permission to travel.
