Ambani said at the Responsible Artificial Intelligence for Social Empowerment summit (RAISE 2020) on October 5.

Mukesh Ambani added that AI will make possible for India to move faster towards achieving its $5 trillion economy goal. Ambani further added that the Aatmanirbhar industries and small businesses will be achieved using AI. AI will AI will also help dominate new global value chains.

Ambani was confident while saying that the government will introduce some data regulation framework to protect this national resource and ensure data privacy.

“Data is the raw material for artificial intelligence. Intelligent data is digital capital, it is a vital national resource. In the past, nations have competed on physical capital, financial capital, human capital and intellectual capital,” Ambani said.

Being the biggest consumer of data currently, India would maintain its leadership spot on this score with 5G round the corner, said Mukesh Ambani on Monday.

India is set to roll out a massive pan-India Optical Fiber Network to connect cities, towns and each of the 6 lakh villages. India also is on course to being among the top nations on the fixed broadband turf, the RIL Chairman said.

Atma Nirbhar Bharat is the Artificial Intelligence innovation contest’s name that invited solutions in areas of healthcare, education, agriculture, smart mobility and natural language processing.

The top 15 AI solutions have been selected by a jury, and will be awarded ₹2 million each. The contest was organized during 14-29 September in the run up to the main event.
