In an incident reported from Mathura, a 13-year-old boy has been detained for raping an 8-year-old girl for which the police have started an investigation after the case was registered by the girl’s father.
As per the report in Times Of India, the girl was playing at the accused’s residence on Thursday afternoon when the boy returned from school and saw the girl playing alone. It has been alleged by the girl’s family that the accused caught the innocent and raped her.
An FIR has been registered under Section 376 (rape) of IPC and the girl has been sent for a medical examination. The SP said that the boy will be produced before the juvenile justice board and the victim’s statement is being recorded under section 164 of CrPC.
