Moving onto the story, a couple name P Mamata Banerjee and AM Socialism of Tamil Nadu’s Salem district got married this Sunday. The Salem district was ruled by Stalin.
The wedding invitation of the couple had gone viral days before their wedding as it turned heads and rolled eyes of people seeing the names on the Card.
The couple, Socialism and Banerjee got married at Panaimarathupatti in the presence of state CPI president R Mutharasan.
The groom is named Socialism and his father, Mohan, who is the district secretary of Salem Communist Party of India (CPI), did not stop just there. He named Socialism’s brothers as Communism and Leninism. Socialism is the youngest of all.
Talking about his first son Communism, Mohan had said, “I decided to name him communism as I felt that communism will exist till the world and human race exist”.
Mohan reasoned the naming of his children saying that he wanted to lead the principles of communism. His grandson is named Marxism, further proving his claim.
“If a girl is born in the family, I will name her Cubism,” he had said.
Mamata’s grandfather, who happened to be a Congress man, had been a fan of the now three-term Chief Minister of West Bengal and hence, is responsible for her name.
Mohan’s family is highly appreciative of the Communist Party of India (CPI), on the other hand, his daughter-in-law’s family are staunch supporters of the Congress.
The couple went viral on the Social Media and the couple reiterated that they didn’t expect this to happen.
“We have received thousands of congratulatory messages from known and unknown people till this minute,” the newly-married couple said.
“I started realizing the power of my name only after ‘Didi’ became the chief minister of West Bengal,” Mamata Banerjee said after the marriage was solemnized.
