Maharashtra reconciles Data of 3,509 Covid-19 fatalities; India’s overall tally reaches 3,998 on Wednesday

With the Third-Wave almost coming in, Maharashtra and the country are still struggling with the past waves and records of the patients.

On Tuesday, Maharashtra reconciled it’s Covid-19 fatalities data and gave out a huge number. The state reconciled 3,509 Covid-19 fatalities resulting in a high jump in the overall country’s Covid-19 toll which has been steadily declining since the past few days.

On Tuesday, India’s daily Covid-19 toll was 374 deaths but after Maharashtra reconciled the data, the Health Ministry updated the toll on Wednesday making it a huge number of 3,998 deaths. 

Not only Tuesday, but India’s daily Covid-19 toll has also now come down to hundreds from thousands.

After the 14th reconciliation, Maharashtra’s positive case tally has increased by 2,479, while the toll has increased by 3,509.

Most of the Indian states are seeing a steady decline in the number of daily cases and daily tolls. But Maharashtra, Kerala and the northeastern states are still in danger.
