On Monday, a plea was submitted by the police before the special court saying that the bail stands automatically canceled as the conditions have been violated. It has been five days since independent MP Navneet Rana and her MLA husband Ravi Rana have been granted bail. A non-bailable warrant has been sorted against two of them by public prosecutor Pradip Gharat.

As an argument on the plea, Gharat submitted “Both the accused, by talking to the media, have committed breach of condition imposed upon them not to talk to media about the subject which relates to this case,” quoted The Times Of India.

On April 23, the Rana couple were booked for the alleged offence of sedition as well as breach of harmony to recite Hanuman Chalisa outside the private residence of CM Uddhav Thackeray – Matoshree.
