According to the new order released by the State Government, cinema halls, restaurants, theatres, shopping complexes, gyms, sports complexes and swimming pools in municipalities that have high vaccine coverage and low positivity will now function at full capacity.
Public and Private offices are now allowed to open with full capacity. Moreover, offline classes have also been allowed at all academic institutions.
In A list of municipalities comprising Mumbai, Pune, and Nagpur, attendance up to 50% capacity of the place is allowed for social, cultural, religious, and sports events including marriages and funerals. If the gathering exceeds 1000 people, then the permission of the district disaster management authority will be needed.
“Various restrictions have been imposed in the state currently in order to curb the transmission of the Covid-19 virus. Now, based on the inputs of the Health Department as well as the Covid taskforce along with due consideration to the current Covid scenario in the State, the State Executive Committee (SEC) has decided to modify these,” read the order.
