On Tuesday, Shiv Sena MP Sanjay Raut alleged that Kirit Somaiya has “put tomato sauce on his chin and then sought President’s rule claiming he has been attacked.” He also said that Devendra Fadnavis – opposition leader should read Hanuman Chalisa at his home and relax his mind “since BJP will not come to power for 25 years in Maharashtra.”
“What kind of democracy is this? Devendra Fadnavis should also understand this type of democracy and express his opinion on it. The BJP’s desperation stems from their inability to come back to power and there is no chance to again come back to power in the next 25 years. The only solution to this desperation is recitation of Hanuman Chalisa at home,” quoted Mumbai Live.
He said “BJP’s leaders in Maharashtra could not come to power, so they are frustrated and talking through their loudspeakers. But the gross misuse of Central agencies to suppress opposition parties and put pressure on courts and how opposition parties in various states are under terror…must be talked about. There is global concern about human rights violations in India. There is concern that there is a dictatorship-like atmosphere in the country. If some madman puts tomato sauce on his chin and demands President’s rule, these things should be ignored,” quoted The Times Of India.
