“India to have US Standard highways in the coming 3 years” – Union Minister Nitin Gadkari

Union Minister Nitin Gadkari was addressing a virtual audience when Gadkari said that National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) is adding about 38 kms of road every day to India’s massive highway network.

With this speed, as per the Minister of Road Transport and Highways hopes that India’s national highways will soon match with the standards of the US roads. 

Gadkari also gave credits to the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi that led to the fast paced construction of the highways of the country.

The comments from Minister Gadkari came in after he virtually inaugurating a 3.75-km long four-lane elevated corridor in Deesa town of Banaskantha in Gujarat.
