New Delhi – Defense Minister Rajnath Singh issued a fresh warning to Pakistan, saying, ‘India made Pakistan bite the dust in the 1971 war. Pakistan suffered a humiliating defeat in this war.
This war changed the history and geography of South Asia. I testify that just as India won the direct war with Pakistan, Indian victory in the covert war waged by this country is also certain. Work is underway to eradicate terrorism.’

I wanted to celebrate this festival with great enthusiasm. However, after the death of Chief of Defense Staff General Bipin Rawat, his wife and 11 officers in a helicopter crash, it was decided to celebrate the occasion. While inaugurating ‘Vijay Parva’, Rajnath Singh said he was reminded of General Rawat.
The pre-recorded message of General Bipin Rawat was broadcast during the’ Swarnim Vijay Parva’ program, which started at India Gate. On Tuesday, a day before the helicopter crash, he had recorded the message for the soldiers on the occasion of’ Swarnim Vijay Parva’.
“On the occasion of the’ Swarnim Vijay Parva’, I heartily congratulate the Indian soldiers. I pay tribute to the soldiers who sacrificed their lives. This victory festival is being celebrated under the shadow of Immortal Jawan Jyoti, established in the memory of martyrs. I invite all the people of the country to join in this victory celebration.” said General Rawat. ‘We are proud of our armies Aao milkar manaen vijay parva’ (Lets unite to celebrate the victory jubilee).’ these are the last words of General Rawat.
