Officials have said that it has been decided by the Delhi Government to conduct self-defense course for female teachers in schools. The course will begin on October 10 at Thyagaraj Stadium. The teachers will be trained in self-defense, avoidance of conflict, and de-escalation during the course period.
A government official has said, “Delhi Police personnel (females) have been requested to impart training to the teachers in advanced self-defense techniques. Participants who attend the programme will further act as master trainers to all the female staff members in their respective schools.”
They have also said that the schools have been issued circulars for the nomination of teachers for classes. They have also added the teachers who are nominated must be fit and suitable.
