While the Bombay HC was hearing against the illegal hoardings, it accepted a suggestion to put up QR codes on the hoardings. If there are no QR codes visible on the hoardings, then the police can pull them down. The suggestion will be taken as positive, said the state government.
At the time of the hearing, an advocate had suggested to put up hoardings with mandatory QR codes that will provide details like the one who has put it up and the days for which the hoarding will be.
If any hoarding does not have a QR code, then the police can bring that hoarding down without providing a gearing, said the High Court.
