BMC data shows that there were ZERO Covid deaths for the first time in Mumbai

On Sunday, as per the data by the Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai, the city reported zero Covid deaths for the first time since March last year. On the other hand, the city registered a total of 367 new cases, which took the total tally to 7,50,808.

According to the city’s civic body, zero deaths were reported last time on March 26, 2020.

In Mumbai, the death toll due to Covid-19 has remained unchanged at 16,180 yesterday.

In the country’s financial capital, the recovery rate now stands at 97%, however, the positivity rate has declined to 1.27%.

28,697 tests were conducted on Sunday.
