The Maharashtra State Board of Education has decided to give extra timing of half an hour for SSC, HSC theory exams as the students are struggling to come back to their normal writing speed in the pandemic.

After the reopening of schools, many students faced difficulty in writing with adequate speed and with accuracy.

In the board exams, the students will get an extra half an hour for the 70-80-100 mark question paper and more 15 minutes for the 40-50-60 mark paper. This year, instead of the 11 am schedule, the exams will start half an hour earlier. On Tuesday, a detailed exam schedule was released by the board.
