An official note has been released by the University Grant Commission (UGC) regarding the Covid appropriate behavior that needs to be followed by the higher educational institutions (HEIs). The notification can be viewed on the official website of the commission at ugc.ac.in.
The official notice says, “The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare has requested that strict COVID-19 guidelines should be followed by educational institutions. Thus, colleges, universities, and other higher education institutions should be following COVID-19 appropriate behavior at all times and places.”
The educational institutions will have to adhere to strict Covid-19 guidelines like wearing masks, maintaining social distance, using hand sanitizers, and following other guidelines. It has been requested by the commission to the higher educational institutions to take appropriate decisions regarding the conduct of physical classes and the opening of the campus.
