On Sunday, Covid cases in the city and state witnessed a drop. There were zero deaths reported on Sunday from Thane, Navi Mumbai and Panvel.
Maharashtra had 704 cases and 16 deaths which took the total caseload to over 66.43 lakhs and deaths to 1,41,259.
On Sunday, Mumbai had 188 new cases. Total cases are not standing at 7.65 lakh and deaths 16,357.
“The Covid-19 situation overall is steady right now, but we have to continue taking precautions”, says BMC’s executive health officer Dr Mangala Gomare.
