In a judgement dissolving marriage of a couple, the Supreme Court said that it is the liability and responsibility of the father to maintain the child attains the age of majority.
The court also added, “It also cannot be disputed that the son has a right to be maintained as per the status of his father.”
Moreover, the court said that the child should not be made to suffer because of the disputes between parents.
