Aminia, a legacy amongst the Mughlai joints, is turning 91 this year and giving the city of joy a new delivery and take away outlet at EM Bypass. This remarkable journey of 91 years started with a small outlet at Zakaria Street, serving the famous Mughlai/Awadhi cuisine. Later, on the day of independence in 1947, they opened their first outlet in the Futani chamber in the Newmarket area.
But their journey wasn’t confined only to that place. They started expanding their business across West Bengal and presently have a total of nine outlets.
2020 will be defined as a historical year for the F&B and many other industries. All the industries have witnessed a restructured business model where safety and sanitization are the utmost priority. After a long term hiatus, Aminia has seen a revival in the business since the
lockdown eased. However, the new normal is very much different than the old one.
Balancing social distancing and food quality has been quite an uphill battle for the F&B industry, but it couldn’t stop our favorite Biryani joint to add a new feather to their hat. This new takeaway and delivery outlet of Aminia is located at an extensive party hub of EM Bypass. The menu being quite the same as the other outlets, their focus is to keep the Aminia classics available all the time.
“At first, we were a bit hesitant considering the prevailing situation. But tallying the huge surge
in the online business, we decided to open Aminia-EM Bypass. It can be stated that in the upcoming months, the online business will rule the market. People are still reluctant to visit the restaurants and malls, even after the highest possible safety measures are being taken for customer safety,” said Kabir Azhar, director of Aminia restaurant.
Aminia is taking all the necessary measures possible to provide safe dining, takeaway, and delivery experience to its patrons. Aminia is adhering to all the safety guidelines directed by WHO. Their Safety protocols include compulsory mask and headgears for all the in house and delivery staff, sanitization of the premises at 3 hours interval, vigorous washing and sanitization of hands, temperature checks thrice a day, food is sealed in tamper-proof packaging for delivery to avoid any contamination, compulsory temperature checks and sanitization for delivery executive, 6 feet distance at the queues as well as inside the bathroom and washing
area, cleaning of cutlery after every meal.
This biryani pioneer is not only famous for its unique Kolkata Biryani but also for dishes like Galawati Kebab, Firni, Rezala, Navratan Korma, Chaap, and many more. Aminia aims at giving the most appropriate flavours, and fragrance to the people of Kolkata who have consistently showered them with love and support for generations and also to all of them, who have always considered Aminia as a trustworthy casual fine dining restaurant. The above-mentioned newly launched outlet of Aminia doesn’t offer the dine-in facility; it’s a takeaway and a delivery point.
