  • Gandhi, in his statement had said, “The problem is that there is no vaccination strategy. The Prime Minister doesn’t think strategically. He is an event manager, he thinks one event at a time.”
  • “Rahulji… if you’re concerned about vaccination then pay attention to Congress ruled states… there is a mess,” Javadekar replied to Gandhi’s 3% vaccination statement.

On Friday, Union Minister Prakash Javadekar gave a huge statement related to the current Covid-19 situation in the country.

The only way out, even as per the experts, is the vaccine and talking of India, the population is where it all halts.

But, despite of the fact that it is almost impossible to vaccinate EVERY Indian even in the span of the next year, Union Minister Prakash Javadekar has something else to declare.

Union minister Prakash Javadekar said on Friday that ALL Indians will be vaccinated against the coronavirus disease (Covid-19) by the end of this year.

The statement is seen to be a comeback to opposition leader Congress’s Rahul Gandhi who recently said that only 3% of the whole Indian population has been jabbed. Whereas, it is lesser than that!

Javadekar addressed a press conference on Friday and said, “India’s vaccination will be completed before 2021. The Health Ministry has given a blueprint. 108 crore people – with 216 crore doses – will be vaccinated by December. Rahulji… if you’re concerned about vaccination then pay attention to Congress ruled states… there is a mess. They are not taking the quota given to them for 18-44 year old beneficiaries from May 1,” Mr Javadekar said.

Gandhi, in his statement had said, “The problem is that there is no vaccination strategy. The Prime Minister doesn’t think strategically. He is an event manager, he thinks one event at a time.”

Javadekar also mentioned that, “India has administered 20 crore vaccines so far and ranks second in terms of jabs administered. If Rahul Gandhi is indeed worried about vaccination rates, he should concentrate on how Congress-governed states are conducting their respective vaccination drives.”

Rahul Gandhi didn’t stop at calling PM Modi an Event Manager. He went on to say, “The Prime Minister’s ‘nautanki’ is the reason behind the second wave of COVID19 in India. He did not understand COVID19. India’s death rate is a lie. The government should tell the truth.”

Javadekar didn’t miss a chance to counter this saying that using such terms while the nation is currently in a state of turmoil and Gandhi is just pointing fingers at the government’s efforts to curb the virus.

Javadekar also said that the Covid-19 vaccination programme is robust and will successfully vaccinate every citizen.
