As per a study,
Putting on a tightly fitted two masks can double the effect of filtering out SARS-CoV-2-sized particles. The mask will prevent them from reaching the person’s nose and mouth and causing Covid.
According to a research published in the journal named JAMA Internal medicine, the research shows that the reason for enhanced filtration is not adding layers of cloths but, it looks out to eliminate any gaps or ill-fitting areas of the mask.
The country battles with the second wave of the deadly Coronavirus with many states facing acute shortage of beds and medical oxygen. India’s Covid tally has crossed the grim milestone of 2 crore on May 4.
