Maharashtra government announces Strict Lockdown Rules in the state from 22nd April, 2021 from 8PM onwards. Following are the Key Details of the same.
Key Details:
- Locals and Metro and Mono Rails SHUT for common travellers
- Private buses can ply with 50% of seating capacity with no standing travellers
- Marriage ceremony may be conducted only as a single event in a single hall not extending beyond 2 hours with maximum of total 25 persons attending the same.
- Any family seen to be flaunting the restraints will be fined Rs 50,000: Maharashtra govt
- Government offices attendace reduces to 15%, except emergency services departments
- All private offices have been asked to reduce attendance from 50% to 15%
- District Borders Sealed until Essential Work
- Private vehicles will only be allowed for Essential Works and will run at 50% capacity
- If rules are flaunted, ₹ 10,000 will be fined for private vehicles
- People from outside Maharashtra will be quarantined for 14 Days
Maharashtra on Wednesday reported 67,468 fresh coronavirus cases, taking its tally beyond the 40 lakh mark, while 568 more patients succumbed to the infection, said a state health department official.
