In Saturday, the BJP MLA from Bairia constituency triggered a conversation after he said that one of the seven wonders of the world, the Taj Mahal in Agra would be renamed as ‘Ram Mahal’ or ‘Shiv Mahal’ since there was a Shiv temple before and hence the Taj Mahal would be transformed again into a temple.
The MLA also added that Uttar Pradesh’s CM Yogi Adityanath was a descendant of Maratha Warrior King Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. He also claimed that the Muslim invaders used all the methods to destroy Indian culture but soon it will all be changed into present “golden age of Uttar Pradesh”.
“Shivaji’s descendants have arrived in the land of Uttar Pradesh. Just as Samarth Guru Ramdas gave Shivaji to India, similarly Gorakhnath ji has given Yogi Adityanath to Uttar Pradesh,” Singh told reporters.
“If God wishes, you will get to know very soon that the Taj Mahal in now Ram Mahal or Shiv Mahal. The Muslim attackers used every way possible to destroy the Indian culture, but now the golden time has come in Uttar Pradesh in form of a Shivaji descendent… It (Taj Mahal) will change. It was a Shiva temple and Taj Mahal will again become a national heritage or a Ram temple. It will be turned into a Ram temple and its name will change… It will all change due to Yogi (Adityanath) ji,” Singh told mediapersons on Saturday.
Two years ago, Singh had raised a conversation saying that Taj Mahal must be renamed either as Ram Mahal or Krishna Mahal and the Victoria Palace in Kolkata must be named as Janaki Palace.
